CREATIVITY KNOWS NO BOUNDARIES, BUT ART IS BORN WHEN LIMITATIONS START TO EXIST. THE FORMATION OF AN IDEA, THE CONCEPT, COMPOSITION, TECHNIQUE TO ACHIEVE IT. POLAROID RETAINS A SENSE OF NOSTALGIA THAT RESONATES WITH SOMETHING WITHIN ALL OF US AS WE USE IT TO CAPTURE MOMENTS IN LIFE THAT CANNOT BE REPLICATED.

SOME LIVE FOR THAT MOMENT AND KEEP EVERY PHYSICAL EVIDENCE OF IT, AND SOME BUILD VISUAL STORIES THROUGH POLAROID.

“BITE ME” IS A SET OF IMAGES THAT TELL THE STORY OF ANGER AND ANGST. WE ALL HAVE MOMENTS LIKE THESE WHERE WE NEED TO HAVE SOME FORM OF RELEASE EVEN IN THE MOST MUNDANE OF TASKS IN EVERYDAY LIFE. WHEN YOU DON’T HAVE YOUR EYELINER APPLIED CORRECTLY, WHEN THE FLOWERS YOU’VE BOUGHT A ONLY FEW DAYS AGO START TO DIE, WHEN YOU EAT AN APPLE AND THE FLESH GETS STUCK BETWEEN YOUR TEETH BECAUSE YOU BIT INTO IT WHOLE.

THAT MOMENT KNOWS NO LIMITATION AND CARES FOR NO ONE ELSE’S OPINIONS. MUCH LIKE THE POLAROID THAT CARES FOR NO CRITICISMS FOR HOW IT DEVELOPS AND RETAINS ITS PERSONALITY IN EACH IMAGE – IMPERFECTION IS THE REALITY AND THAT IS HOW IT IS REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU THINK OF IT.

THIS SERIES IS UNAPOLOGETIC.
